By registering on Storyexpe you agree to the terms of use.
Following, in some circumstances we will define generically as "Services" the registration on Storyexpe and its use.
About
Any content posted on private profiles or groups has uniquely the status of the personal opinion of whoever posted, commented, and/or shared that content. Under no circumstances does any personal content represent Storyexpe as a platform. Storyexpe is characterized by regulated and moderated public categories and areas, which are clearly separated from private profiles.
1. Who can use Storyexpe
Who is not of legal age according to the law in his country, or is not yet 18 years old, declares to act with the consent of at least one of the parents or legal guardian.
You confirm that:
- You are not legally barred from receiving the Services.
- You will comply with these Terms and all applicable local, national and international, regulations laws and rules.
2. Rights we grant you
Storyexpe grants you that the registration and the participation with a personal profile is completely free. We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, nonexclusive, revocable, and non- sublicensable license to access and use the Services, for the sole purpose of these Terms and our usage policies.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services.
Your personal and professional profiles are administrated only by you. They are completely free of advertising, and only you decide the content.
We do not send newsletters, emails or solicitations to return to visit the platform, invite friends or to submit you any kind of offers. The only notifications are consequent to direct actions expressly executed by the user, such as: response by email to the registration request; response to the request to join a group; response / notification regarding information to requests expressly addressed, eg. internal messages.
We never use personal information about your navigation (e.g. browser, phone, etc.) for any commercial purpose. And of course we don’t share or sell any information.
3. Rights you grant us
You retain whatever ownership rights in that content that you you create, upload, post, send, receive, and store on Storyexpe. You grant us a perpetual worldwide, royalty-free license to save, use, display, publish, reproduce, edit, modify, adapt that content on Storyexpe. You will not be entitled to any compensation from Storyexpe.
Images, videos, texts and links: all your data sent will not be treated or collected for statistics. We will not use any information for individual offers.
For every content you publish on Storyexpe, we decline every responsibility about a possible copyright infringement. Never imply Storyexpe is sponsoring, endorsing or recommending your content.
Storyexpe is not responsible for information that third parties may collect without the consent or the knowledge of Storyexpe, therefore fraudulently and secretly.
By registering on Storyexpe you agree that near your content we may place advertising, in view of your kind of presence. This does not apply to your Profile- or Category pages. These are free of advertising, and only you decide the content.
If your content violates these Terms, rules, laws or regulations, we may access, review, screen, and delete your content at any time.
If you volunteer send us suggestions, we can use your ideas, modify them even in part, without compensation or quotation.
4. Respecting other people’s rights
Registering on Storyexpe, you agree that:
- you don’t violate or infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, rights of publicity, or any other intellectual-property right;
- you don't act by assuming or imitating someone else's identity through fake profiles;
- you don’t defames, harasses, intimidates, bullies, solicits or spams our users;
- you don’t interact with other users in a way that does not conform to mutual respect.
5. Copyright
All submitted information and dates (as like images, videos, comments, announcements, publications) are, without exception, the sole and complete responsibility of the owner of the respective profile. We do not guarantee that we can review every content, therefore we can not guarantee that any content not in compliance with the regulation, law, or generally with morality, can be removed promptly, even if we take reasonable steps to expeditiously remove any infringing material that we become aware of. Even in case of repeated signaling of a content posted by users, we reserve the time for an appropriate review.
Storyexpe will take reasonable steps to terminate a user’s account, in case of repeated infringement of copyrights or regulations.
We will not tolerate any violation of local, national and international laws, regulations or behavioral values of mutual courtesy on Storyexpe. Furthermore, we cannot guarantee that every content on Storyexpe will always conform to our Terms or Guidelines, but under no circumstances Storyexpe will assume any responsibility for any published content.
It is forbidden to create fake profiles with names that directly or indirectly refer to persons who do not correspond to the identity of the user who created the profile, regardless of whether they are known or not. In the case of fan pages, this must be clearly indicated. Storyexpe does not assume any responsibility for the creation or use of fake profiles, of which it is not clearly evident that they are, and the consequences resulting from them. Fake profiles of any kind will be removed immediately; reports about them will be processed as quickly and accurately as possible.
If you believe that anything on Storyexpe infringes a copyright that you own or control, please contact us by using the "Report inappropriate content" option.
Please provide all necessary information about the infringement (e.g. picture, work, content, material), and all necessary proofs that you are the owner of the copyright. Please provide sufficient information to let us locate the material, and who has used it.
Provide your contact information, including your complete name, address and email address.
Provide a personal statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law. Please provide a statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Any opinion expressed by users is their sole responsibility, and in no case is expressed in the name of Storyexpe. Users retain ownership of their data and information, and and by posting their contents they do not assign ownership rights. Any content published is their responsibility, therefore also any use subsequent to distribution, including that of third parties. We will not track, collect, share or sell content, information or data for advertisement or customized news.
On Storyexpe, only the uploading of files of any kind is allowed, for which the user has full rights and/or consent to the use or diffusion. If the user does not have the rights (e.g. images, music videos, etc.), it is necessary to insert an indication, possibly also a link with a clear description of the source.
Storyexpe does not assume any responsibility for the publication of content subject to any kind of restrictions on publication, confidentiality, total or partial censorship, copyright infringement. Any obvious breach of any of these criteria will result in the immediate removal of such content by Storyexpe. Any request for removal will be processed as quickly as possible.
6. Storyexpe’s rights
You may not use in any way the name or the logo of Storyexpe, even partially, or that a relation between you and Storyexpe can be interpreted.
With the registration and participation you don’t have any right to:
- use in any different manner from that explicitly foreseen branding, logos, contents (posted by Storyexpe or by other users), designs, images and photographs, videos, or any other materials used in Storyexpe without our consent.
7. Safety
Please help us in our efforts to keep the user’s experience on Storyexpe safe for all users.
You agree that:
- you will not use the services on Storyexpe for any illegal or prohibited purpose, or that infringe these Terms;
- you will not use any kind of device or technology to access the Services or extract other user’s information;
- you will not attempt to access areas or features of Storyexpe that you are not authorized to access, or test the vulnerability of our Services;
- you will not participate or act in a way that could disrupt or interfere with other users or with the activity in general, or that could damage, overburden or disable the functioning of Storyexpe;
- you will not solicit login credentials or private information from other users;
- you will not post content that contains violence or that could be interpreted as violent, pornography, explicit nude images or that could disturb morality, threats, hate speech, incitements to violence or any kind of aggressive behavior;
- you will not upload viruses or other malicious code or otherwise compromise the security of Storyexpe;
- you will not encourage or promote any activity that violates these Terms.
About your safety and the safety of others: please never use Storyexpe in a way that would distract you from obeying safety or traffic laws.
Measures have been taken to instruct new users to use sufficiently secure passwords. Storyexpe does not assume any responsibility for the theft or loss of passwords caused by user negligence, and any damage that may result for the user. Except for payment options, under no circumstances will users be asked to provide personal data, such as telephone number, address, relationship status or income. No personal data (except for the name) are required for participation at Storyexpe, nor information that can provide useful insights to allow third parties to be able to trace the personal purchasing behavior of users. For those provided spontaneously by users, and any use or abuse that may result therefrom, Storyexpe assumes no responsibility. For legal purposes, and only for the necessary duration, statistical data relating to the general use of Storyexpe (e.g. countries of origin, IP address) are collected.
Apps or technologies of any kind are not used and are not allowed to track data and user behavior. We use software to prevent hack attempts.
8. Your account
With your registration on Storyexpe, you agree that:
- you are responsible for any activity that occurs in your account. You confirm that you will undertake to take all necessary security measures, selecting a strong password, keeping it away from the reach of third parties and protecting access to your account;
- you will not create more than one account;
- if your account has been deleted, even if you have contested the decision, you will not create a new account with the same or with a different name, unless you have our written permission to create a new account;
- you will not make your account accessible to others; in particular, you will not sell or rent your account, the password or your username to others, unless you have informed us and you have our written permission.
If you think that someone has gained access to your account, please contact us immediately, by using the "Report inappropriate content" option.
9. a) Charges / fees
Creating an account on Storyexpe is completely free, as well as the further use within your profile, without any limitation of time. This obviously does not apply to our additional Business and Marketing Services that we offer on Storyexpe or to additional features of your profile, e.g. joining a group.
With registration to Storyexpe, there will never be any cost related to your mere status as user. If you receive a message prompting you to make a payment, consider it false and please inform us immediately, by using the "Report inappropriate content" option.
You are responsible for any mobile charges that you may incur for using Storyexpe (e.g. for smartphone, other devices or internet).
9. b) Memberships
On Storyexpe, users have different membership options related to their profile or for specific commercial presences. Costs and duration (if limited) are clearly indicated in the "Options" section. Every membership ends definitively at the indicated expiry date. In no case, a membership is automatically extended. In no case, additional costs are created in addition to those indicated for the use of the service described regarding a membership.
In no case:
- Storyexpe assumes any responsibility for achieved results (e.g. in terms of visibility) related to a membership.
- The membership fee will be refunded.
Storyexpe does not offer any form of refund for malfunctions or the performance of services that differ from those indicated, when these are due to circumstances beyond its control, to unforeseen or extraordinary events (e.g. insufficient infrastructure, increase of users beyond expectations), to short-term temporary events, or when every reasonable effort is made to resolve a disservice within an acceptable time.
10. Third- party services
Under no circumstances we offer services from third parties on Storyexpe which require any form of separate indication of personal data or information, or otherwise separate or different action from that of the normal use of Storyexpe. Storyexpe uses external services for payments (e.g. Paypal). Storyexpe is committed at any time to guarantee high standards of security and transparency in relation to payment methods, and to use only the most reliable services. Under no circumstances is Storyexpe liable for malfunctions or other types of inefficiencies related to the payment method and/or procedure.
Storyexpe does not assume any responsibility for every form of contract, collaboration or interaction which may arise between users and business partners (e.g. commercial presences) on Storyexpe.
11. Modifying the services and termination
We continually improve and complete our service. That means that we may add or remove features, products or functionalities, or that we may suspend or stop the Services altogether at any time, even without informing you. In such a case, we do not assume any liability for any form of disturbance or damage that may result directly or indirectly from it.
Storyexpe may deactivate or delete permanently or temporarily an account, or use any limitations on the use of the services, without stating any reasons.
12. Indemnity
You agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Storyexpe and its founder / owner / CEO from and against any and all complaints, charges, claims, damages, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) due to, arising out of, or relating in any way to your access to Storyexpe, your use, your content and your breach of these Terms.
Any form of indemnity is excluded for any expense incurred on Storyexpe (e.g. for premium visibility), as well as for any other cause, e.g. for a personal or professional profile not in line with your expectations (e.g. for visibility, interactions, etc.).
You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
13. Disclaimers
All Services on Storyexpe are provided "as is" and "as available" and to the extent permitted by Law without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non- infringement.
Despite our commitment to ensure always an impeccable, uninterrupted and up-to-date service, we don’t represent or warrant that the service will always be: error- free, secure, timely, in use without delays, disruptions or imperfections, or that any content or information (posted by Storyexpe or by users) on Storyexpe will be accurate or timely.
We do not take any responsibility and we do not assume any liability for any kind of content created and uploaded, posted or received by users directly or indirectly on or trough Storyexpe. You understand and agree that you may be exposed to content that might be illegal, offensive, misleading or otherwise inappropriate, non of which Storyexpe will be responsible for.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum Extent permitted by Law, Storyexpe, its owner(s) and managing member(s) will not be liable for any indirect, special, consequential, incidental, punitive or multiple damages, loss of revenues and profits, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or for any loss of use, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- the unauthorized access, use or alteration of your content, even if Storyexpe has been informed of the possibility of any damages;
- your access to or your use of Storyexpe;
- the inability to access to or use Storyexpe;
- the conduct or content of other users on Storyexpe.
Under no circumstances Storyexpe, its owner or managing member(s) may be liable for any financial amount. You understand and agree that, to the maximum Extent permitted by Law, you will waive any request of a financial or legal nature to us.
For disputes with other users, you renounce to involve Storyexpe, which will only provide all the necessary information to resolve the dispute, within the limits of respect for the privacy of all parties involved.
Under no circumstances is Storyexpe liable for any consequence resulting from actions agreed or organized on Storyexpe (for example events, parties, meetings, actions with a political, criminal or hate crime motivation).
Storyexpe encourages an authentic interaction between users, based on real experiences and comments. In no case will Storyexpe be liable for comments, reviews or statements deemed inappropriate, misleading or in any way harmful by the receiver. In addition, Storyexpe assumes no responsibility or liability for any inconvenience or damage that may result from any review, comment or statement posted on Storyexpe. Storyexpe will promptly detect such content and request that it be corrected or removed as soon as possible. Such requests will be evaluated and, if necessary, processed in the shortest possible time.
15. Arbitration, class-action waiver, and jury waiver
The following paragraphs require you and Storyexpe to agree to resolve all disputes between us through binding individual arbitration.
a) You and Storyexpe agree that all disputes including all statutory claims and disputes, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Storyexpe that cannot be resolved in small claims court will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis.
b) If non-appearance arbitration is elected, the arbitration will be conducted by telephone, online, written submissions, or any combination of the three; the specific manner will be chosen by the party initiating the arbitration. The arbitration will not involve any personal appearance by the parties or witnesses unless the parties mutually agree otherwise.
c) Fees: for any legal dispute between you and Storyexpe, you agree to be fully responsible for all costs directly and indirectly caused by your claim against Storyexpe, including legal fees.
d) All claims and disputes between you and Storyexpe must be arbitrated or litigated on individual basis and not on a class basis. Claims for more than one user or customer can not be consolidated with those of any other customer or user.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be severed from these Terms and not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
17. Additional terms for specific services
Should it be necessary or opportune to craft additional terms and conditions for specific Services on Storyexpe, those additional terms and conditions will become part of your agreement with us if you use those Services.
18. Final terms
These Terms (together with any additional terms applicable to specific Services on Storyexpe) make up the entire agreement between you and Storyexpe. If we do not enforce a provision in these Terms, it will not be considered a waiver. These Terms do not create or confer any third-party beneficiary rights. You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
If you receive unwanted emails from Storyexpe, or emails that are not strictly related to your actions (registration, account verification, memberships, account deletion, and similar), consider them fake and please inform us.
