Or movies like BTTF, Indiana Jones, and many others of the '80s. I seriously doubt that in 30 years many people will have such a nostalgic view about today's superhero blockbusters, among those kids who are growing up with this now..
Absolutely true. Not only we have much more choice today, but often the quality is better. For example TV series. The difference between today's offer and the '80s is just abyssal. But I don't see any series that has the potential to become such a cult like "Knight Rider"...
Why are we so fascinated about the '80s? Even if I just remember the 2. half, everything about this decade awakens in me a nostalgy: the lifestyle, the pop- culture, even aspects for which I was too young.
But when one day my grandchildren will ask me what the most characteristic image of these decades is, I really don’t want to answer “selfies”!
