In the list of decades of the last century one would want to travel to, having a time machine, the 1940's barely makes it into the top 10 (out of 10 available decades). And for a number of perfectly understandable reasons. However, should you accidentally find yourself temporarily (hopefully) in the 1940's, you can still come back with a couple of useful experiences:

 

1) Help to complete Mount Rushmore (and don't forget to take a selfie, otherwise nobody in the present will believe it). That’s something you could really brag about with your friends here.  

2) Meet, and eventually help Albert Einstein with his work.

The 1940's - Trending Topics

 

In this unprecedentedly arduous decade, beyond all the fanciful suppositions about what a time traveler could have done to shorten the duration of the tragedies that have occurred, from the conversations on Storyexpe emerges an awareness that first and foremost we must draw the most useful conclusions for a society in order to prevent something like this from ever happening again. And especially the widely shared awareness here of not taking anything about it for granted.

However, this decade was marked by several extraordinary artistic phenomena, which even allow us to cast a partly nostalgic (in this respect) glance at those years. Indeed, some of the most memorable film classics were created, such as Casablanca, Orson Welles' Citizen Kane, and some of the most important Disney classics of all time. Musically, Frank Sinatra emerged to prominence in the 1940s, alongside an already established artist such as Bing Crosby.
